Simeon is William Henry's father
Note: But wouldn't Wm have named his 1st son Simeon instead of John? Does the naming convention mean his father's name is John? Not necessarily because he is working for and living with his new wife and her father, JOHN Shields, hence John S. Reese is name of first son.

Wm was married twice, the first time to a daughter of John and Lucy Hillman Shields, possibly in 1832 in Warren County, GA (Sarah or Martha?)
Note: Wm's 1st son's name is John, born in 1853, 5 years before his marriage to Eugenia.
Note: Wm was living with the Shield family in 1850.
